summer sleep over really

I remember when school started when labor day was over. that was the last day to have fun, before school started.  some of my kiddos started a month ago. these kiddos start next week..

We had last sleep over with my girlie’s  dinner with fam before they left big girls night!

20110824-082300.jpgthe babies cried they wanted to stay.

20110824-082521.jpg the girls were thrilled. they said good night to papa  he settled into bed work in am. the girls and I planned a special dinner for papa for the next night. yummy chicken on a stick, salad, white rice and corn on the cob. dessert ice cream sundaes. they could  hardly wait. i tucked them in and gave them a dose of fairy dust. that has been a tradition for us since number one was little. fairy dust equals no bad dreams. everyone was excited to go shopping for dinner, but as we went to leave, i was notified of a fire burning farther away then it looked a good thing.. but it was a bit scary. so we hurried down the hill shopped and made it home in record time.  great news the fire was on the other hill wind blowing other way no worries. dinner went off without a hitch two tired girlie’s one exhausted grandma.  one more day of fun is posted on wordless wed.

What great photos! I love capturing memories like this on camera. Sometimes we move through life so quickly, we forget to stop and remember the little things like mourning the loss of summer and enjoying the start of a new school year. Great job!

    • i love capturing more candid shots. the kids pose sometimes, but it is the ones they don’t remember that make the memory. summer went to fast this year. the kids were on crazy schedules and now it is a memory. thanks for stopping by my blog is growing I hope you visit again.
